Richard brings a positive and inquisitive approach to his teachings, encouraging students to explore their range of comfort and move mindfully within it. He inspires students to be present while they practice; to be aware of how they are breathing and moving and to sense how they feel before and after each movement. This helps students develop a greater degree of sensory motor awareness in their body.
Richard believes that when students learn and understand how their muscles function, they are able to bring ease to their nervous system, experience comfort and re-condition a new normal. With this knowledge, they can become self-sustaining in their own body, learn to walk with SWAG and put some FUNC back in their life!
