Monika is a lifelong learner and has always had a keen interest in the Beauty and Wellness Industry.
At only 16 years of age she enrolled in Hairdressing School after arriving in Canada from Germany, followed by becoming an Esthetician and Spa Practitioner through the AVEDA Institute Victoria.
The ultimate dream after working many years in beautiful Spas around the Province was to obtain her Massage Therapy Diploma and work as a RMT in BC.
Monika finally attempted in her 40s, not knowing she would study throughout a global Pandemic with all its challenges. She graduated successfully from the Vicars School of Massage Therapy in Calgary and moved back to Vancouver Island in 2022.
Monika has a natural drive to help people, which led her to also become a Healthcare Assistant. Her experience ranges from Care in the Community and working in Hospital and Long-Term Care settings. She has experience working with the elderly and also those with complex chronic conditions.
Monika has been working in the manual therapy field for over a decade and looks forward to helping you find relief and comfort from physical and emotional stress.
Whether it is rehabilitative or relaxation orientated, the treatments Monika provides are patient orientated using a variety of techniques but focusing mainly on classic flowing Swedish Massage.
When Monika is not massaging you will find her in Spin Class, studying with a big cup of coffee or hiking some trails on Vancouver Island.
